Greeting’s
in Christ. Once again I want to thank you taking time to read my news letter.
Thousands of kids can’t smile; play today just because they can’t get a meal. I
praise God because you have chosen to partner with Jesus in order to feed His
children in Haiti. By doing so you are changing bad situation into a brilliant
future for the children of Haiti.
Last
year, Elda and I open a preschool so that we can teach God’s principle to our
children. We want them to become godly men and women who will be able to form a
better society. Unfortunately they could not come to school all the time. Most
of their parents couldn’t give them a meal before they come to school. Most who
manage to come, couldn’t listen to the teacher due to hunger. The smaller ones
were crying all the time for food. The school seems like a prison to them
instead of a pleasant environment to learn just because of lack of food.
Last
year, Emily Crane and I witnessed a child died because of malnutrition in a
hospital of Gonaives. We felt very sad about that. Since then God told her to
partner with our ministry to start a feeding program. For now, we can only feed
30 children because of lack of finance. March 6, 2012 was the first day of that
program. It was a day that the Lord has made for them. We desire to provide a
meal every school day. We also desire to give food that can help them to be
healthy. For now they are happy; they smile, they play; they are excited to
come to school. Right away the attendance started to rise. That is why Jesus
said this: “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me
something to drink, I was stranger and you invited me in, Matthew 25: 35.” Help
us do the same thing with Jesus-Christ, our savior, bringing the good news
of Jesus to these children.
